This mid-level marketing position functions as an internal account manager to the Buildertrend sales team. The position works closely with our Lifecycle Marketing Manager and other marketing leadership to identify marketing objectives, strategies, tactics, messaging, timelines and success metrics. Working with internal team resources, this person will execute campaigns and deliver solutions that meet strategic company goals. The Marketing Specialist for sales will focus on the pre-signup stages of the customer lifecycle and manage complex projects proactively, including a wide range of marketing and communications needs. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, flawless communicator, diplomatic project manager, and a highly-detailed marketing professional who excels in account management and meeting deadlines.

job functions
Main job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Ownership of top-of-funnel marketing initiatives designed to attract and convert customers
  • Work with company stakeholders to spearhead marketing initiatives that promote a seamless, best-in-class and on-brand sales experience for prospective Buildertrend customers
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans with end-to-end ownership of project
  • Write business and creative briefs that clearly articulate brand and campaign objectives, and success criteria in order to inform and direct the work of internal marketing team resources
  • Work to achieve key performance indicators in partnership with the sales team
  • Advocate for our prospective clients throughout the pre-signup stages of their lifecycle.
  • Analyze campaign results, create project recaps and make recommendations for future efforts

  • Proven ability to work effectively with internal partners to analyze needs, set goals, measure progress, and achieve positive results
  • Ability to plan and execute campaigns through team and project management
  • Independent, reliable, self-directed work style and solid personal organization and project management skills
  • Proficiency with leading office software including content management system, project management system, marketing automation and attribution software
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high energy work environment managing tight deadlines with a commitment to driving quality and measurable results
  • Strong analytic skills to analyze marketing and sales data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, sales etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across teams to push forward strategic initiatives
