Buildertrend is looking for a Talent Sourcer to join our Talent team and help us fill our open positions with qualified candidates.

Talent Sourcer is a relationship manager responsible for nurturing cold, top-level candidates through our recruiting funnel. This includes using various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs. If you have solid networking skills, can creatively connect with passive candidates, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will proactively identify and build relationships with top developer talent in advance of our hiring needs to bring in the best potential candidates for consideration.

 

Responsibilities

Build a tech pipeline and network of 300+ candidates

Focus on mid to senior level talent for our Engineering team

Nurture passive candidates through regular communication & networking

Place 12-20 candidates as full-time employees on an annual basis

Connect pipeline candidates with key internal stakeholders

Measure source of hire and time-to-fill for each role

Continuously monitor tech talent in Midwest for new leads

Implement new sourcing tools and techniques for relationship management (dinners, events, etc.)

Identifying top talent may include tactics like:

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to determine position requirements
  • Browse resume databases and portfolio sites
  • Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
  • Join social media groups and professional networks and interact with potential candidates
  • Advertise open positions to external networks
  • Ask for referrals from current employees, acquaintances and industry professionals
  • Maintain organized databases with candidates’ data (e.g. in our ATS)
  • Attend and network at user-group events and conferences
  • Keep in touch with past applicants
  • Use Boolean search to look for qualified candidates for hard-to-fill roles

 

Qualifications

Proven work experience as a Headhunter, Sourcer, Recruiter or similar

Strong ability to influence and sell our Buildertrend Employee Experience

Understanding, or ability to learn quickly, the technology industry

Natural relationship builder and strong ability to network

Advanced knowledge of sourcing techniques (including Boolean search)

Hands-on experience with sourcing tools (e.g. resume databases and portfolio sites)

Time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple open roles simultaneously

High attention to detail

Solid verbal and written communication skills

BS degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field preferred
